Last month I wrote about how to save your blogging time by at least 30% by creating a "blog post template" like we do for e-mails. Today, I would like to revisit that blog post because it appears like creating a template can certainly save significant amount of time.
As you probably know, I publish Minteresting (my mashup) posts not so often and I end up using a template for it even though its not complete. But last week I created another blog post template for daily Mashups and the results were stunning because it helped me publish daily mashups (like this and this) in less than 10 minutes. Sans the templates, it would take me at least half an hour considering the formatting, links, alignments, hashtags and much more.

If you’re not sure about Content Curation then check out this blog post on Content Curation. In a nutshell, a content curator’s goal is to find interesting stuff and share the same to a targeted audience. And like Fast Company mentioned Content Curators are the new superheroes of the web.
So if you have a specific niche and a targeted audience then it really makes sense to publish curated stuff – daily or every 2 or 3 days or even weekly.
What Tools Do I Use To Curate Content?
Like every other blogger, my primary source of content consumption is via RSS feeds and I use Feedly for that. Thanks to Google for shutting down Google Reader! Feedly is too awesome now. I added my favorite
50 75 blogs to my Feedly and labeled them based on my primary tags Blogging, Internet Marketing, Social Media, Tech & Web 2.0.
And whenever I read some interesting stuff that I want to share with you I save the story to the Pocket app under any of the following tags – My Picks, Blogging, Internet Marketing, Social Media, Tech & Web 2.0. And once I’m done with reading, all I need to do is just copy-paste the Titles and URLs from Pocket app to my 13 Digital Media Resources Template.
How I Find Interesting Content…
Other primary news sources, apart from Feedly, that I use to find interesting content are LinkedIn Today, Social Magazine App Zite, and Inbound.org as they generate the most relevant content for me. Other tools that you can try are Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube, Twitter Lists, Facebook, Visual.ly, List.ly, Storify, Hacker News, Scoop.it, etc. depending upon your interests, as this list never ends.
