I’m a newbie of Twitter. Frankly when I first heard about it, “Oh another Social Networking site”? Isn’t Facebook enough? That’s what I felt. Then one of my friend shared an interesting video (Twitter in Plain English) about Twitter and I was amazed by the way it works. If you are a newbie of Twitter then read on, this will help. It is as simple as “what you are doing currently”. Yes, Twitter allows you to post a one-liner message about what you are doing presently with the word limit of 140 characters. Once you post your message there are lot of Twitter master to check what you are up to. So, what is the difference between Twitter and Facebook, well, I think Facebook is for your personal friends and Twitter is widespread to your online friends. More to discover though! I was hooked by the way I can show the world that I had a cup of coffee ;-)

Just a few years ago you would not have even heard about “Weblogs”, but they are everywhere now. Blogs have become very influential components when it comes to Internet and the vitality keeps moving exponentially. They are used as tools for generating online groups of people with have same interest, where they can also discuss their thoughts and ideas. Others may have a personal log which records individual’s activities and opinions. Whatever could be the reason of having a weblog; it is important to improve the performance. Just have a look at some of the easy ways below that can help you perk up your blog’s performance:
1. Plan Everything: You first need to have everything planned for your blog. Know what are the marketing strategies that would work, plan what would be your next blog post, and most importantly get prepared for surprising stuff as well. If you lose up on planning, then there is risk involved on all aspect you do to your blog.
2. Mind Your Goals: We usually have to set up goals before starting a web log and once you are done with that watch your target always. If you lose to contemplate your goals then you are sure to miss out all that you planned for the log.
3. Focus On Human Visitors: Don’t make the repeated mistake of writing for search engine to achieve high ranking that most blogger do. It’s a stupid idea to just stuff keywords around the corner to impress search engine, just write for human visitors that would automatically bring traffic to your site.
4. New Stratagems Are Mandatory: As a website/blog owner you should never think that your blog is doing ok and you need not try different methods to improve it. Always go with trying new stratagems, who knows what may work for you best. It is possible that not every strategy you try may work, but nothing wrong in having an attempt.

Don’t miss out especially if the reader have some suggestion or has special request from your site. By replying to comments you are only building your group that has the potentials to perk up your blog.
7. Visit Others Blog: Develop the habit of reading others blogs. Whatever you write in your blog post are the ideas that developed from reading only. Just like how you offer RSS feeds to others also do subscribe to the RSS feeds of their blogs. So keep reading and learning new things from others too.
8. Back Up Post: It is very important to have one or two backup post ready for blog. Frequency of posting is must if you want your blog live longer in the industry. You may not have time to write a blog for say about two day, at that time such ready blog would save you!
9. Unique Post: Further it is always good to write unique post than to write on the same topic over and again. Even if you have specific niche to write about go for diversified blog that would impress the reader. Cover the entire niche you have in your website/blog, you would surely have lot to write about!
10. Make Friends: Making new friends and maintaining exiting friends online is very significant. It will certainly make new community via your blog, but also find some way to list yourself. Twitter is the one of the trendy way not only to make friends, but also to advertise their blog!

Today internet is loaded with ideas to make money online and affiliate marketing remains on top of the list. It is beyond doubt a great way to earn money, because it just gets started with no or little investment. Then why do people fail to achieve success? In case you aren’t making money out of affiliate business, then you need to note the following 6 traps that can kill your business.
1. Believing that affiliate is all about inserting links:
One of the greatest mistake people do is put up affiliate company links, banner and generic ads on site and think that sales would follow automatically. Well, that’s far away for the reality. Instead of wasting time in making your website look glorified with full of banner, it is better to concentrate on posting informed product reviews. Write about benefits of listed products and this would surely encourage your readers to check out the products.
2. Promoting too many programs at the same time:
The prospect trap is a deadly mistake into which lot of people get fascinated. It is simple, the more campaigns you will have, the less you would be able to concentrate on. Since 2004, when Google began to have annual reports, Larry and I have taken turns writing an annual letter. I never imagined I would be writing one in the midst of an economic crisis unlike any we have seen in decades. As I write this, search queries are reflecting economic hardship, the major market indexes are one half of what they were less than 18 months ago, and unemployment is at record levels.
Nonetheless, I am optimistic about the future, because I believe scarcity breeds clarity: it focuses minds, forcing people to think creatively and rise to the challenge. While much smaller in scale than today’s global collapse, the dot-com bust of 2000-2002 pushed Google and others in the industry to take some tough decisions – and we all emerged stronger as a result.
This new crisis punctuates the end of our first decade as a company, a decade that has brought great change to Google, the web and the Internet as a whole. As I reflect on this short time period, our accomplishments and our shortcomings, I am very excited about what the next ten years may bring.
