Windows Vista Stability, Reliability and Performance Update

Microsoft plans to release new Windows Vista Updates via Windows Update this week. Microsoft also says that these updates will be included in the first Windows Vista Service Pack (SP1) which they plans to launch early next year. The patches increases the performance, reliability, and stability of the operating system.

It includes an update on system compatibility, reliability and stability which actually improves the battery life of Notebook PCs, increases the performance of wireless connections and also improves the response time of the operating system, an update to USB core components and an update to Windows Media Center.

Microsoft Releasing Several Vista Patches This Week

Several updates will make their way to users this week through Windows Update, Windows Vista team member Nick White wrote to the official Vista blog on Monday. If users decide to pass on the updates, they will be included in SP1.


Windows Vista Speed, Stability Fixes To Hit Windows Update

The three non security updates that White described are not new. They have been available since early October, when Microsoft posted them on its Download site. Tomorrow, however, is the first time they will be offered to users via Windows Update, the operating system’s automated update service.
