I’ve introduced Google AdSense to almost all my friends. Simply because Google AdSense is the easiest way to start making money online but at the same time it’s not that easy to generate earnings as it depends on the amount of traffic as well as its quality. If you introduced AdSense to some one else then I’m sure that the first question most of them ask about this Pay Per Click program is of course "So I can make money by clicking my own ads. Right?". I say "Wrong". But then they ask more questions like "What if I click from different computers which have different IP addresses?" Again I would say "No! you cant". So let me tell you why you should not click your own Google AdSense ads.

First of all realize the truth that Google is not that stupid to pay dollars for nothing. But I must admit that many are doing the same and probably earning money. Again, I must say that they wont earn money like that for longer term. Some day Google will catch them. So why risk your Google AdSense account for a few pennies or dollars?

So make sure that you read their Terms and Conditions before you actually apply. Most of the publishers don’t read their terms and conditions just because they are too lazy. But you must read their terms and conditions at least after their approval.

How Google Detects Invalid Clicks?

According to Google, Invalid click activity consists of any clicks or impressions that may artificially inflate an advertiser’s costs or a publisher’s earnings, and for which we decide not to charge the advertiser. This includes, but is not limited to, clicks or impressions generated by a publisher clicking on his own ads, a publisher encouraging clicks on his ads, automated clicking tools or traffic sources, robots, or other deceptive software.

They also says that they want to protect their proprietary detection methods and system and hence they can’t disclose their tracking system. But Google also said that they detect invalid clicks by analyzing all clicks and impressions. So that if they think that you are actually violating their terms then they will either warn you or disable your account within no time.

And how they discover that you clicked from different computers? Yes, they can even find that by analyzing your actions on the landing page. For example if you asked your friends to click your ads then they will simply open some of your pages which contains Google ads and will then close that page after clicking some ads thereby spending very less time on the advertisers page. So don’t click your own ads instead write some quality traffic and dollars will follow that for sure.
