Google Exposes Ad Review Center For Adsense

Google is soon coming up with a feature called “Ad Review Center”, which is especially designed for giving more control to the web publishers who monetize their web sites with Google AdSense. The feature might be out in next few months. It will allow web publisher review ads placement-targeted to the website that will make sure those ads are relevant to your site’s users. When you pick up the option for Ad review center, initially you will see all placement-targeted ads presently targeted to your site and after few days you will be able review placement-targeted ads that have previously run on your site. On the other hand, you have an option of blocking the ad from appearing again if the ads are not relevant to your users.

Additional Google AdSense warns you when blocking Ad Review Center because advertisers would be least interested coming back if you keep blocking ads without any valid reason. For this you have two options:

  1. First one is you can give feedback on why the particular ad was blocked. This feedback would be shared by Google AdSense to advertisers for improving their ads. Logically speaking, it is important and could help to get Smart Pricing in a way that Advertisers would be getting feedback and plan up for a better landing page, resulting in better consumer experience.
  2. The second option offered is to unblock the ads blocked on Ad Review Center. It is another good option because after the advertiser had improved the ad it might be helpful to go back and verify them and perhaps unblock that advertiser’s ads.

No doubt, the revenue would differ by site and also by industry. Google AdSense says when using the Ad Review Center to please "consider the revenue effects of blocking ads or switching from the auto-allow setting". Google AdSense says Ad Review Center is coming in few months and publishers are looking forward to see the impact it would get on the industry.
