What do you thing is better? To own one blog covering many topics or divide it, so that we can have a portfolio of blogs and concentrate on each blog - this is called niche blogging. The common trend that is found on net is one subject for one blog. I personally did not appreciate this idea before, as I could not differentiate the benefit of having one blog with lots of categories or many blog holding each subject. But then as I did more research I found some effective points favouring niche blogging!

Having one blog with different categories is of course simpler in several ways. I just need to organize only one design, one group of statistics, one group of readers and more. But then having separate statistics is certainly better and simpler to follow and analyse. You can experience this in your own way, just check with yourself whether your favourite blog carry several subjects or one? I personally prefer going with niche blogs. I have also noticed the blog that have more topics in one particular blog has fewer fans.

If you go with niche blogging then you would have more chance to develop loyal readers that would love to bookmark or keep in touch with the blog as they know what they might get. Being a blog owner you are free to focus on one particular topic and will not feel unhappy that you are paying less attention to other categories. This will in turn lead you to deliver high-quality and power of articles. Blogging on one particular topic could raise your reliability and outline. Your readers would recognize you as a specialist on that theme.

You might ask me where the revenue will come from. Well, profit comes easily from niche focused blogging. Ad programs like Google AdSense and Yahoo’s Yahoo Search Marketing seem to work much better for sites that are highly focused. Search engine like Yahoo, Google and MSN enjoys sites that are highly focused on any particular topics, which has many pages on one topic and those are integrated also. I have found niche blogs are generally more eye-catching to private advertisers and sponsors that are hunting for content to publish their ads on that is pertinent to their product or service. Am soon gonna start with niche blogging and if you want to succeed in blogging then it is necessary!
