Problems With a Bad Web Hosting Company

The main problem with a bad hosting company is that they host a large number of domains on a single server and that affects the reliability of their services and it overloads the server and may cause downtime.

If your site is down then you may lose potential customers and the search engines may not be able to crawl the site.

Recommended Web Hosts

There are the recommended Web Hosting Companies:

HostGator

iPowerWeb

GoDaddy

IX Web Hosting

Dedicated VS Shared Web Hosting

Shared Hosting is one in which multiple domain names are hosted on the same IP address and on the same server. Dedicated Servers allows you to control a server by yourself. Dedicated Servers are more expensive when compared with a Shared Web Hosting.

If you are investing heavily into the web then consider a Dedicated Server from a reliable company.

Free Web Hosting

Free Web Hosting is not at all recommended as they usually put some advertisements on your website that makes it unprofessional. So stay away from a free web host.

If you cant afford a web host then its better to start a blog. Blogger provides reliable hosting and a sub-domain for free. But blogs are personal in nature and not commercial.

A Web Host in Your Country

Choosing a web host from your country gives a relevancy boost for your website. Say you are targeting U.S then its better to choose a web host from U.S itself.
