I’ve just noticed that the Advertising Programs link on the Google home page is not working and is returning a 404 Error! And that’s not all Gmail is down for me. Yesterday they have blocked my Gmail account for few minutes after sending two mails with 20 MB attachment each. I wonder what these guys are doing out there.

  • Google AdSense For Online Games

Google has just announced its official blog the launch of the beta of its AdSense for games, known as Google In-game advertising. With this development, Google intends to follow in the wake of advergaming, in which Microsoft seemed to have won the game.

For now it seems that the AdSense system for games is only available in sets of pages whose traffic originates in 80% of the U.S. or the UK. The game in question must receive at least 500,000 items daily. The system seems simple, because the ad was loaded before playing, going from level or after the Game Over screen. This leaves Google as a choice of carrier. In addition, ads can be either graphics or in text and even video. Internet advertising seems to be copada in its entirety by the same company. We will see what lies ahead. Here I leave with you the promotional video of AdSense for online games that appear on the official Google AdSense blog.

If there is anything on the web where users spend time, Google will eventually offer the possibility of its advertising system there AdSense for online games can become a form of advertising that cares less user experience of those who have learned, interstitial allows up before you play, during or after.

Curiously, in the field of video games is Microsoft who takes the lead after the purchase of Massive, articulating a system of traditional ads within the game and not on the "casual games flash on the web" as Google has done.

  • Google announced the launch of its browser yesterday. Today, it available for download to all. You can download the Google Chrome Beta for Windows Operating System from here. I thought it was a small application like the Google Talk as the download was just 474 KB :D but it’s not. It was just the initial setup file the full application comes to around 46.50 MB on my Windows Vista. Yes, it’s cool indeed.

  • You think its impossible to reinstate your Google AdSense account if it’s disabled for invalid clicks generated from your computer? I would say Yes, it is possible. Recently I came across a forum post where a user revealed about how he reinstated his Google AdSense account when it was disabled for invalid clicks.

After his account got banned he emailed the Google AdSense team that it was not done by him but they didn’t listen to him. He tried to open another AdSense account and was banned again due to a duplicate account.

  • How to Utilize Google Adwords

Google AdWords is a pay-per-click advertising tool run by the search engine Google. A business creates text advertising copy and then picks keywords and key terms that define the business and the target markets they want to reach. That business then bids on how much they are willing to pay for that keyword to appear on a Search Engine Results Page (SERP).

The more a business pays per keyword, the higher the ad will appear in the results. Best of all, the business isn’t charged for the ad to appear on the SERP. They are only billed when the ad link is clicked, taking the visitor to the business site. Before getting into the specifics of Google AdWords though, here is a brief history of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
