Yahoo! has been thriving to enhance its Search Marketing interface to make it even more competitive along with high utility. Recently, the Yahoo Search Marketing has launched some fresh functionality in its three areas:

1. Keyword Suggestions
2. Excluded World Limits
3. Campaign Tune-up Alert

Keyword Suggestion – Here you will find three options to choose when you click on “Add keywords” at the link Ad Group Details.

1. Quick Add – This will enable you to type your keywords easier when you know which one you exactly need to add.

2. Choose from List – Here the system will make keyword suggestions, which are associated to latest ads and keywords available in the ad group.

3. Research Keywords – This will continue to provide the ability to key in words or description, which explains the products and services provided by your site, and then the system, would give keyword suggestions. This page further allows you to enter your site’s URL.

On the final word, keyword suggestion tool could offer you will more reliable suggestions on keywords that are actually relevant to your purpose. In turn you save time and simultaneously improve the value of traffic generated by the campaigns.

Excluded Word Increase – Till last year December, Yahoo Search Marketing only permitted maximum of 50 excluded words at ad group levels and at the account. However, now due to the increased advertisers demand, the excluded word limit is been increased to 250 for both. It is expected that 250 exclude word limit will assist users to generate more traffic received using Advanced Match Type relevantly.

Campaign Tune-Up Alert – This feature is restricted only to the U.S market.

• With Campaign tune-up option you can now get an alert at your dashboard whenever tune-up proposal is obtainable for viewing.
• Once the proposal is accepted, the system would show a dashboard alert whenever there is an update on your Yahoo Search Marketing campaign.
• In case if improbable event that an error happens in the conclusion of your campaign tune-up, that would certainly be sent to you via an alert on the dashboard page.

Most of them may not know this – Internet Explorer could save your beloved passwords for different web pages, you are nowhere required to keep re-entering it. On the other hand, if your computer is as well shared with other users, such as family members, or you are frightened about security system, you could configure Internet Explorer not to save your passwords.

My favorite Web Browser is of course Microsoft Internet Explorer (now Windows Internet Explorer) due to it’s aesthetic appeal. It’s the world’s most popular Web Browser. But in fact Firefox is gaining it’s market share. According to Market Share by Net Applications, 14.88% of Internet users used Mozilla Firefox in September 2007, with 14.42% using version 1.5 or higher. I guess it’s because of Firefox’s simple design and because of less crash. I’m using Internet Explorer 7 on my Windows Vista and my IE crashes often it’s really not as reliable as Mozilla FireFox.

Now, let me tell you why I hate Mozilla Firefox. First of all I hate Firefox because of its look and interface. It lacks a professional touch. And then I don’t like the name "Mozilla Fifefox" as a brand name. Now, consider Internet Explorer 7 it has got an amazing look and I Love the brand name "Internet Explorer" which is a perfect name for a Web Browser. Again, Mozilla Firefox don’t have navigational sounds. It means it do not generate a ‘Click’ sound when we click a hyperlink.

Today I find a solution to one of the above problems and I take this opportunity to share that with you. I just discovered an AddOn for Firefox called Navigational Sounds which generates the ‘Click’ sound when you click a hyperlink.

Yahoo! Search Marketing now gives you more control of your account, by letting you specify websites in Yahoo’s partner distribution network on which you don’t want your ads to appear.

As you know, with Sponsored Search, your ads can appear in search results on Yahoo! and throughout our partner distribution network which includes Yahoo Publisher Network Sites. Similarly, if you opt in to Content Match, your ads can appear both on Yahoo! and our partners’ sites. With the new blocked domains feature, available today in your account, you can now specify websites in Yahoo! Network where you don’t want your ads to appear.

Blocked domains is just one part of Yahoo!’s work to improve the value of the traffic that they deliver to you. Well, as of now you can block your ads from only up to 250 Websites. I hope they increase that limit in the near term as it’s not enough.

Using Blocked Domains Is Easy:

1. Log into your account
2. Click on the “Administration” tab
3. In the Account General Information box, next to the “Blocked Domains” heading, click on “Submit Domains”

1. Block your ads from up to 250 web sites

View Web searching and browsing from a new perspective-3D. The free SpaceTime Beta 0.9 simplifies surfing by organizing items in a spatial way, as you would in the real world. Web pages appear as large thumbnails, one behind the next, in a visual stack that recedes into the distance. Pages browsed by URL go into a browsed-image stack. Search stacks show thumbnails of the results listing followed by the pages it cites. Every search produces another stack. Stack float on an invisible plane. Within a stack, you can quickly move back and forth using your mouse’s scroll button. You’ll also find navigation tools in a band below the stack area. Keyboard cursor arrows let you “fly” through the 3D environment or move stacks. Double-clicking on a thumbnail maximizes it into a browsable window.

With certain sites, the application can display search in its interface rather then as normal 2D Web pages. Currently this capability works with major search engines and a number of RSS feeds. SpaceTime’s eBay search integration is the most impressive. The software isn’t a full-blown browser, though, and it requires a pretty powerful Windows XP or Windows Vista PC (Mac and Linux versions are in progress), but it’s definitely worth checking out.
