51 SEO Tips for Higher Search Engine Ranking

Everyone loves a good tip, right? Here are 55 quick tips for search engine optimization that even your mother could use to get cooking. Well, not my mother, but you get my point. Most folks with some web design and beginner SEO knowledge should be able to take these to the bank without any problem.

1. If you absolutely MUST use Java script drop down menus, image maps or image links, be sure to put text links somewhere on the page for the spiders to follow.

2. Content is king, so be sure to have good, well-written and unique content that will focus on your primary keyword or keyword phrase.

3. If content is king, then links are queen. Build a network of quality backlinks using your keyword phrase as the link. Remember, if there is no good, logical reason for that site to link to you, you don’t want the link.

4. Don’t be obsessed with PageRank. It is just one isty bitsy part of the ranking algorithm. A site with lower PR can actually outrank one with a higher PR.

  • BidVertiser – PPC (pay per click) program with a low $10 payout amount.

Here is a small list of websites where you can earn money by uploading videos:-

    1. Break - Remember: Break’s high payment may look very attractive at first but let me tell you that it selects videos very strictly where your videos have to be very interesting and useful and original.
It pays $400 for your first video if you let them have it exclusively and $200 if you don’t let them have it exclusively. You get $500 for your second video (exclusively) and $300 (non-exclusively.) For your third video on the homepage (and every one thereafter) you will get $600 (exclusively) and $400 (non-exclusively.)
Two years ago I read somewhere that it paid $2000 for every short animated video. I could not about it on their website but I recommend to check it once if you have animator friends or are yourself an animator. Even if you get a short animated work done by someone it will hardly cost a few hundred dollars.
    2. Revver - You get a share of profits made by your videos. So, the more your videos are viewed the more you earn. They do not reveal exactly how much they pay and how much you can make with every thousand views your videos get, but I can give you an idea through my experience that you earn about $1 for every 150-200 views. So, I highly recommend Revver to you if you are serious in making money online by uploading videos. You can upload any type of video but my advice to you is that make a very funny home video with your mobile of digital camera which is not a very tough task to do. Just tell your friends about it. When they are ready, start shooting the video. Best idea is to tell them to crack jokes on each other. That is it. You will have to do no promotion of your video if it is really funny and the more popular your video gets the more it will be displayed on key pages and areas of the web site.
    3. Metacafe - It is a source of living for many people. Its very much similar to Revver but gets far more traffic but the traffic gets distributed among the high number of videos uploaded there. It pays $5 for every 1000 views but the earnings count only after your video gets viewed for 20,000 times. SO, I do not recommend this website unless you have really unique and interesting video to upload which is of 20 seconds to 6 minutes length and is capable of getting at least 20,000 views to start making money for you.
    4. UploadJockey – This one is my favorite. Whenever you upload a file (not only video), it uploads it to all top file hosts like Rapidshare, Easy-Share, File Factory, Zshare, Megaupload and Badango. Then you get a link to promote it and it pays $2 for 1000 unique hits. But it has some conditions. It says that:

"We pay $2 for 1000 "Unique hits" from the following countries: Canada, US, UK.
We pay $1 for 1000 "Unique hits" from the following countries: Australia + Western Europe.
We pay $0.50 for 1000 "Unique hits" from the following countries: Brazil, Czech Republic, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, Ukraine.
All other countries pay $0.20 per 1000 "Unique hits".

    1. Make easy money online naming domains. The original idea comes from Dane Carson’s blog. While you can earn money as a contributor for services such as PickyDomains.Com, here is a better idea. Go to Google or any other search engine, find sucky domain names and contact their owners directly, offering them your services. The key to success is to make it 100% risk free. Inform your prospective clients that you’ll accept money only if they like your domain name. If you come up with one approved domain name a day and charge what PickyDomain charges, you can make $1500 a month. Another twist – come up with cool domain names, like SiteToRemember.Com or ItsMe.Com, register them yourself and sell them on the aftermarket.
