Hi there,

I have signed up using a $100 promotional link. It works and I’m thinking of opening another Yahoo Search Marketing account using different email and username, but similar credit card and billing information, simply to acquire extra credit from the promotion. Will the same promotional code be applicable on the new account I’m about to open?

I’ve been signing up for multiple yahoo search marketing accounts with the account information (Name, Address, Telephone) but with different VCCs. Each signup is via a different coupon code. I am also advertising a different website each time. I’ve noticed recently that all of my accounts are being disabled. This has not happened in the past. Do you have any idea. Did yahoo change there verification algorithm. Its making it alot harder to use open multiple accounts.

Hi Ashok,

Sorry for the delay I was out of the town. Yeah, you can use the coupons to advertise in US Search Market using a Billing address from India (No need for US Address.) Regarding your PayPal question I never Signed Up using PayPal. Please check their FAQ or ask their sales team. You can stop the auto payouts by going to PayPal > Profile > Pay List and cancel the auto payment there. As we can use the same credit card to open multiple accounts the same must hold true for PayPal also.

Cheers. Your blog is very good and informative but I still have a few qns regd YSM. Wud u be kind enough to clarify?

1)I am frm India. Can I use these YSM coupon links to advertise to US(shud I give a US billing address?).

2)Can I use unverified PP to pay YSM

3) If I use PP as my payment how do I cancel/stop yahoo frm further charging my PP account, when my balance depletes.

4)Can I use the same PP acc to sign for multiple YSM accounts(1 after the other,After availing the balance)

If u cud clarify all these doubts, tht wud be great.

You said they wont charge my card unless I exceed $100. But they charge the setup fee from my credit card. Then if I may ask, how much is the set up fee which they will charge as the setup fee from my credit card?

I will appreciate every kind respond given to me on the above.

No they wont charge your card unless you exceed $100. But they charge the setup fee from your credit card.
